Fisherman's cottage Aalehytten anno 1829 - in part newly built in year 1998!
The old fisherman at Tossed river, first registered in a public register in years 1829, 1997 was quite badly affected and in need of a loving hand. The house was built in one's masonry and brick in sun dried and roasted execution.
Since the location was unique, directly out of Tossed river, decided my wife and I to buy the old house in 1997 by the estate Karl Sorensen. The renovation began in 1997 and completed in spring 1998. The house currently has a double wall's, a new thatched roof and all modern facilities. The house was renovated with respect for the original, so all targets inside and outside is maintained. Doorways are therefore less than 1.8 meters high, but there is approx. 2 meters below the tier of beams in the house. Aalehytten used as a cottage, but also as dwelling in the autumn, when the eel and duck hunt is on. The area is extremely rich in nature.
When autumn and autumn storms set in, we enjoy a lot to walk by the sea and then enjoy ourselves in the old house with good food and fire in the stove. We also hope to see me as guests in Aalehytten.Aalehytten.

Newly-built fisherman's house with a thatched roof. The layout and the atmosphere of the original house dating back to 1829 have been respected. The house has its own small river and is surrounded by a wonderful large south-facing garden with windbreaks and trees.
